Introducing the Chevrolet Silverado EV

The all-new Chevrolet Silverado EV promises to shake up how the automotive world thinks about pickup trucks, all while setting itself apart from the revered gas-powered Silverado. With an estimated MSRP starting at $39,900 + destination freight charge, the new Chevy Silverado EV is already wowing Wallingford drivers with its slated specs and features, including a 400-mile full-charge range, a free-form touchscreen display, and an incredible Multi-Flex Tailgate.

Chevrolet Silverado Electric: Performance

The Chevy Silverado EV will be fully electric, making it an absolute game-changer in the auto landscape for pickup trucks. More details will be revealed closer to its arrival date, but for now, this is what the Silverado EV is slated to offer:

• Up to a 400-mile range on a full charge
• Over 660 hp with wide-open watts
• Under 4.5-second 0-60 mph time with wide open watts
• Over 780 lb-ft of torque with wide-open watts
• Up to 10,000 pounds of maximum towing capability (future WT models will be able to tow up to 20,000 pounds)

To charge your Silverado EV, you can use a Level 1, Level 2, or DC public fast charger, which provides a GM-estimated range of about 100 miles in around 10 minutes.

Electric Silverado: Utility

The Chevy Silverado EV is thoughtfully designed with utility in mind and is sure to make jobs around Milford much easier. Its Multi-Flex Midgate with Pass-Through can accommodate items over 10 feet long. You can also choose from two other bed lengths: 60/40 and standard (fits items 9 feet and 5 feet 11 inches long, respectively).

The Multi-Flex Tailgate has six functions to simplify loading, unloading, and accessing the cargo bed. Available Four-Corner Air Ride Suspension can adjust the truck height as well, so you can get in/out or load/unload with greater ease. To top it all off — there’s a front trunk — something never-before-seen in Chevy’s entire truck lineup.
